For 2008 once returning from his stay in Australia, Carber will pilot the Steve Miller Motorsports Lost Creek Carts #22Z for a full schedule of 410 Sprint Car racing in Central Pennsylvania. Michael’s focus will be on a successful 2008 Season while running Friday’s at Williams Grove and Saturday’s at Lincoln Speedway. He and the Team will travel for the PA Speedweek, local WoO Events, and other BIG Money Shows.

Michael Carber of Pipersville, PA began his start in quarter midget racing. At the age of four Michael’s father steered him into racing. As a family run race team they travel across the states for many years, competing in numerous Grand’s events and state title races. Michael primarily raced in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. His home track was Oaklane in Trumbauersville, PA. After winning the 2000 Eastern Grand’s Heavy B Title and winning over 500 races through the years Michael and his dad decided it was time to make a change.
In October 2000, Michael's father purchased a used car from the Hartman family and Michael ran a few Rookie races in October and November at Borger's Speedway. In 2001, Michael ran at Borger's Speedway every Tuesday night and finished 3rd in points. Michael has also turned laps at tracks in Kutztown, Trailway, and Moc-A-Tek. Michael won five features and one wingless feature that year.
In 2002, Michael and his crew decided to concentrate on the Championship at Borger's Speedway. They ran Tuesday nights, won 3 features and clinched the coveted championship. We worked hard running Wednesday nights at Kutztown finishing 3rd in points behind Mike Miller and Randy West. Kutztown has been a great learning experience. We also traveled to a speedway in Middleford, DE winning 3 features bringing Michael's wins to 6 for the 2002 season.
2003 Michael began with running the 270cc Micro Sprint class and adding a new 600cc Micro Sprint to our race team. We ended the season with (13) 270cc Micro Sprint wins and (2) 600cc Micro Sprint wins. We also placed 3rd in the prestigious Linda’s Nationals in our 600cc Stallard Micro Sprint.
During 2004 Racing Season, Michael ran 43 total area races wining 8 features and the Points Championship at Kutztown Fairgrounds Speedway. Six of the wins were at Linda’s Speedway in Jonestown, Pennsylvania where he finished 2nd in the overall 600cc Season Points. Only 35 points behind the first place finisher in his division.
The successful 600cc Micro Season was capped off with a 2nd place finish in the prestigious Linda’s National Open. 2004 also saw Michael make his first start in a 358 Sprint Car. A difficult place to start, but the Selinsgrove 358 open was our only opportunity that fit into our schedule. With only 3 hot laps, he qualified for the B-Main event and finished 8th in his first run. The night was enough to build excitement for our upcoming 2005 Race Season.
Michael ran an aggressive schedule in 2005. Competing in 600cc Micro Sprints at Linda's Speedway on Friday nights, Michael was the point leader by July 1st. At the same time, Michael was driving a 358 Sprint at Lincoln Speedway where he worked his way into the Top 10 in points by mid-season. Michael took a big step forward during the 2005 Edition of PA Speedweek. During the 1st week of July, Michael joined the ultra competitive ranks of the 410 Central PA Sprint Tour. Michael ran events at Williams Grove, Susquehanna, Lincoln, and Port Royal Speedways. Michael gained valuable seat time and driving experience behind the wheel of the CJB Motorsports #69 Sprinter in the later part of the 2005 Season.
The 2006 schedule consisted of nearly 90 race events and was more successful than we expected. Michael piloted the CJB Motorsports #69 for a full season of 410 Sprint Car Racing in the Central Pennsylvania area.

2007 began with a win on New Year’s Day in Brisbane, Australia. Michael picked up the win at Brisbane Speedway in one the USA Races. He then competed in a few of the World Series events during his stay where he placed on the podium numerous times.
